I legitimately don’t understand this. Those who support Trump- do they just not believe that Russia is getting US tax dollars but California won’t be, or do they believe it and just think Russian lives are worth more than American? Just worth more than Californian lives? How do they support this in their heads? America first, unless Russia, then America second?
California is not “real America” and Californians are not “real Americans”, plus they didn’t vote for Trump (in a big way), Nancy Pelosi is from there and the governor is a Democrat. Therefore it’s fine if it burns down because it’s hurting the people they want to hurt. Which is Trumpism at its heart.
As for support for Russia, they dont’ care as long as the abovementioned hurting happens.
But Russians are.

A federal appeals panel said on Monday that President Trump’s accounting firm must turn over eight years of his personal and corporate tax returns to Manhattan prosecutors, a setback for the president’s attempt to keep his financial records private.
The three-judge appeals panel did not take a position on the president’s biggest argument — that he was immune from all criminal investigations. A lower court had called that argument “repugnant to the nation’s governmental structure and constitutional values.”
Instead, the appeals court said the president’s accounting firm, not Mr. Trump himself, was subpoenaed for the documents, so it did not matter whether presidents have immunity.

I remain highly skeptical … mostly because it seems improbable that an obscure news source could get their hands on such incredibly sensitive material.
But if it’s true, not the least disturbing aspect of this story is that such a sensitive conversation was “acquired” by Turkish intelligence. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was because somebody in the White House was making calls on their personal, unsecured, phone.
Doesn’t mean jack shit unless they have balls to march over to the White House and kick ass until it happens.

That said, i wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if it turns out to be true.
Didn’t Mazars say that they stood ready to deliver the requested material once the legal issue had been settled? There are so many lawsuits and countersuits and countercountersuits floating around it’s hard for a bear of very little brain to keep track.
Or perhaps Mazars was counting on CFSG to keep them out of hot water and are now crapping their corporate pants.
