I hope to God she does it. Trump made sure he fired Andy McCabe a day or two before he became eligible for some significant pension benefits, and he always has his people wait until a few hours before a Congressional request/subpoena deadline before telling them “No.”
It would be sweet justice for him to be on the receiving end of vindictive timing for a change. And it would be so fun to watch him trying to control himself while reading the speech someone wrote for him, until he explodes like an old dishwasher and starts ranting about the Deep State screwing him.
Like what the fuck, he decides to take forceful action by---- tweeting? I thought foreign outposts were a piece of cake to secure and repulse hostile actors. Did he even try to send fighter jets to- I don’t know- impress the crowd? If anyone gets killed over this, do we get to say “Donald Lied, People Died, Baghdadzi!”
Somebody at the US embassy to the EU “liked” a Chelsea Clinton tweet criticizing Individual 1, and the State Department went full on investigation mode to find out who it was.
To be fair, with this administration you would have to be an idiot to like a tweet criticizing the Dear Leader from an embassy account, and we don’t need any more idiots in the State Dept.
The ‘like’ happened in 2017 (no slam on Rick, the story is just being reported now), so I don’t think people were as finely attuned to the thinness of Trump’s skin at the time.
