Regarding the “Two Corinthians” gaffe, Trump blamed the notes he received, which didn’t specify that it’s referred to as Second Corinthians. If he were really as religious as he claims to be, he would have known that without needing the notes. And yet evangelicals supported him and continue to support him. (Meanwhile, there are lots of people on the Democratic side who actually do practice their faith, but don’t get support from those groups.)
