That’s been my line of thinking on the stock market, as well. We were due for a correction, and every sensible step to combat the spread of COVID-19 will absolutely help trigger such a drop.

In an area very close to my vulnerable in-laws, a wide outbreak has been traced to two recent, large funerals. Only a few of the suspected cases have even been tested, two people died today, and the regional hospital has resorted to sewing makeshift masks for healthcare workers. The numbers are looking catastrophic.
This is the direct result of thoughts and prayers and minimizing concerns to protect the stock market, instead of directly addressing a known problem as it festered and grew.
Can wolves hear dogwhistles? If so, I should imagine that CFSG’s speeches would be agitating them greatly. We certainly do not want the wolves fighting the MAGAts for the bones being thrown them.
Have you noticed that since last Friday, Trump has been doing a passable imitation of a president? Like, doing things that kind of make sense? (I don’t necessarily agree with every step and every degree, but it’s been within normal parameters.)
So I wonder who in the White House is actually responsible? It can’t possibly be Trump – you know he didn’t think of invoking the Defense Production Act on his own. somebody in the inner circle actually knows how to operate the levers … I can’t picture who it could be.
