The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

When Donald gets wind of this, he’ll order the USNS Comfort to sail for Denver.

Okay, color me naive. This is satire, right? Like The Onion or something? Tell me this isn’t on the level. People aren’t really reading this and believing it, are they?

Yeah, of course. A lot of conservatives swear by it.

Sorry, your answer is unclear to me. I’m not asking if some people believe the site. I’m asking about the intention of the site. Are you saying the site IS satire (i.e., meant to be a potentially humorous exaggeration, a la The Onion), or that it is NOT satire (i.e., the statements there are MEANT to be true and to be taken as truth)?

Never ran into Conservapedia before? It’s Poe’s Law in action. Some are certainly in earnest. Others (perhaps a majority?) are parody.

That’s the thing about a wiki. Anybody can contribute, even people who aren’t taking it seriously. They just need it to sound convincing enough to get past other editors.

But to answer ThelmaLou’s question directly, yes, the creator of Conservapedia (Phyllis Schlafly’s son), did/do intend it to be taken seriously.

Amazing how many obvious Trump supporters are in my Facebook “people you may know” list. They might as well wear “I R DUM” signs.

They seem to be big boosters of lupus medicine as a cure for coronavirus.

Nope. I don’t get out much. Even less than before. :stuck_out_tongue:

WHOA! That is scary. QAnon and stuff like that looks fringe-y and nutso, but this acts like it’s scholarly.

There is also Infogalactic.

Who would have thought that mentally ill people would migrate off the street corners into the internet? I guess it’s hard to take someone seriously who is screaming into the sky about conspiracies while simultaneously peeing in their pants - but a nice webpage just looks authoritative.

Everybody?

I believe he was/is also involved in a project to re-edit the xtian bible to get rid of all the gooey liberal nonsense that corrupts the message.

Individual 1 declares gun shops essential services and says they should stay open.

People have to be able to shoot the virus. DUH!

Yup, the Conservative Bible Project. Please note that the link goes to the Huffington Post commentary; you can also find a link on Conservapedia, but for multiple reasons (mainly having to do with my sanity) I refuse to go there.

You misspelled “reactionaries.”

I’ll bet a single .45 will take out billions of those little suckers!

It’s never lupus.

Its like The Grapes of Wrath written by Ayn Rand.
