The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Well, the Sun hasn’t been darkened, and the Moon is still giving its light, and the stars haven’t begun to fall.

Yet.

And why does he survive every time he does something foolish? Because he has a large professional political organization that props him up.

So if Trump annoys that political organization, all they’ll have to do is take their hands off him and let him fall.

Where do the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse fit in?

I think idiot needs to be on the list.

The Lyrid meteor shower of 2020 peaks tonight!

And so it begins…

It’s obvious that the authors must be Democrats.

Why do they hate America?

Damning Report Finds White House Ignored Skeletal Horsemen Galloping Through Sky As Early As January

Well, the Hitch is dead, so …

And I beheld an orange horse; and the rider that sat upon that horse was called Donald, and covfefe followed with him.

I think I read the same article that’s been discussed above, about the small business loans going to the not-so-small businesses. If I parsed it right, it doesn’t look so much like corruption or bad oversight, but more like it was a loophole in the law or maybe those bigger businesses misunderstood the law. Still, it certainly doesn’t look like what Congress intended. Note that one of the companies is giving the money back.

Bill Barr suggest that the DOJ will support lawsuits against governors who keep their states closed beyond necessary.

That whole thing is obsolete. Now it’s five guys in muscle cars.

AFAIK, they’d only have to return the money if they didn’t qualify for it.

Trump stood by and interjected that he was apparently stunned that Harvard received some of this PPP money – blatant misstatement (major fucking lie is more like it). They’re making shit up as they go along.

I now see why Mnuchin is one of the few survivors of the original Trump cabinet. He sells total horse shit and he somehow looks believable doing it, probably attributable to the fact that he’s among the least cartoonish personalities there.

Which is ironic, since his wife looked like a cartoonish villain holding that sheet of money with her black leather gloves in 2017.

LOL, get outta my head! I swear I was going to post the same picture! I think Mnuchin is a total ass-sucking clown, and nothing has ever hidden that impression from me.

Phaw, they didn’t misunderstand shit. Big companies lobbied for this loophole as I understand it. Whoops! Tee hee, one of us will give the money back and the rest of us will sneak out the back with our ill-gotten loot. Wouldn’t want some unemployed slackers somewhere to get any of it!

Of course, he’s stuffing his mouth with hamberders during that ride.

This.

I would have believed it was a “loophole” had Trump’s first move not been to eliminate oversight – that’s the first fucking thing they did. They helped stage a heist in their own museum by giving the security guards a long vacation, basically. Would one not expect theft to be the result, then?

Good find.

But re Mnuchin, I mean, I’m just comparing him to the other little comical sketches they’ve had coming through those revolving doors, from “Mooch” to Navarro, the latter surviving only because he’s probably even Trumpier than Trump himself.

Speaking of Navarro, I forgot where I read it but there’s a good profile of him that came out recently that really sheds light on his crackpot character, and how he started out as a China-bashing democrat reviled even by other democrats, going back to his days in San Diego. He lost a race he could have won by basically doubling down on being a complete dickhead.
