See, what I don’t understand is–they could very easily impeach and convict, look good doing so, and in the process get Mike Pence: a backwards, idiotic fuckhead who at least won’t get us all killed and won’t risk utterly destroying their credibility with all but a few shitheaded fanatics.
But they cling to Orange Hitler like a baby to a booby. Why?
Sometimes it amazes me just how clueless liberals (or, in your case, communists, right?) are.
Apart from the obvious (that there is no reason to impeach) Republicans don’t care about “looking good” to you. They really, really don’t. Do you understand that?
Isn’t it, you know, kinda wrong for the head of the FBI to discuss an investigation with people who are potential witnesses, or even targets of that investigation? The three times that Comey cleared Trump, if you believe they happened at all, would that be a fireable offense?
I’ve only seen clips so far, but that Lester Holt interview with El Trumpo appears to have been one of the great surrealistic experiences of our time. Trump basically throwing all of his loyal aides under the bus re: the reasons for Comey’s firing was one thing, but that was easily eclipsed by his bizarre accusation of Comey as being “a showboat and grandstander”. Setting aside the absurdity of that statement for a moment, yep, I guess there’s only room for one of them in this town, eh?
The highlight was Trump saying straight out that he decided to fire Comey because the Trump Russia thing was a made-up story.
Oh, how I wish I was a fly on the wall in the White House tonight.
If I were a reporter interviewing Trump, I would start taking a drink of water as he answers each question so that I could do a spit-take when he says something extra-ridiculous like that ‘grandstander’ accusation.
Can you imagine being one of his spokespeople? How do they know what to say at any given time, knowing that they will be completely contradicted by the muppet-in-chief hours later?
