So the local news showed Trump speaking at the Ford Rawsonville plant, and of course he wasn’t wearing a mask. Apparently a reporter asked him about it, and he pulled a mask out of his pocket and said he did wear it, just not on camera. He’s supposed to be an example to the nation- in front of the camera is where he should most be wearing it.Idiot.

Maybe he’s afraid that if he puts on the mask nobody will know who he is.

I don’t think he’s ever made a coherent statement involving testing. The concept of what a test does and what it tells us completely bamboozles him.

It makes sense if you realize he’s trying to find a way to claim he “won” the test.

I was watching The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell tonight and apparently someone took a pic of Trump wearing his mask and tweeted it out. O’Donnell showed it a few times. Hopefully it goes viral just to aggravate Trump, maybe with the meme of “What a pussy–wearing a mask”.

He can’t be unfamiliar with how a lot of his current colleagues actually feel about Jewish people or how such people have treated Jewish people in the past (including Henry Ford). And his own family have been the victims of such behavior, and they’ve reminded him of this repeatedly.

I don’t know that that is really even a good dog whistle to his base.

While “anti-semite asshole” is a good description of Ford, I don’t think it is the first (or even 10th) thing that most people think about when he is brought up.

There are people on both sides who are aware of this aspect of Ford, but they either think it is a good thing and already support Trump, or they think it is a bad thing and already would never vote for him.

If you support Trump, what possible excuses can you give for this behavior:

1. Trump is a nazi ideology sympathizer.
2. Trump is so incompetent that he would say this without realizing its meaning. And it really would be grossly incompetent for any president to say this unknowingly.
