The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

My bold.

Indeed. :dubious:

My bold.

What Kellyanne meant was, “please stop suppressing dirty, filthy, unprincipled, shitty, dumbass, ignorant, crazy, destructive conservative voices!”

IOW the president.

So they’re arguing that, because Twitter is focusing on accounts spreading the most egregious lies, they’re clearly biased against conservatives?

They still have TV and the web to teach us about the Bowling Green massacre.

Without a working link, I assumed that the previous post on this topic was a joke. Now I see that it’s our president who’s the joke, and a very unfunny one.

Wow. Just…wow. How could he get to this age without having an inkling what insulin does? It’s like he’s gone through life with information deflector shields up.

I’m recalling when in March the WH replaced the CDC’s estimates of American Covid deaths with its own. The details of how the estimate was made were never revealed, but the upshot was that it claimed that the daily deaths would be zero by May first.

We can all see how that prediction worked out. Donny Two-scoops has at long last met an opponent who can’t be bullied, lawyered, or lied into submission and will – for the first time in his life – face consequences for his decisions.

It’s too bad it resulted in hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths.

Why is anyone surprised? Insulin meets the same rigorous requirements as hydroxychloroquine: it has been used for a long time to treat a disease totally unrelated to coronavirus.

ETA: but there’s no chance he’ll use it, once he finds out it has to be injected.

Too bad. I hear it’s particularly effective when mixed with household bleach. A lot of people are saying that.

I totally think he should use insulin. Perhaps his lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, could recommend someone to administer it.

He’s never used insulin, so I wonder if he’ll get a BIGLY dose to make up for all those missed doses?

Oh, enough of it can be pretty effective on its own. Ask Sunny von Bülow.

Individual 1 says a reporter wearing a mask was being politically correct,

I saw a coinage today that, by the given meaning, would describe almost all of the participants in this thread. The word “cassandrafreude” was said to describe the bitter irony of having seen it coming but no one paid any heed to your foresight. It is kind of a broken construct, though, because “freude” literally means “joy”, which fits not at all well with the intended meaning.

And, of course, though many of us well knew in June of '16 that a ShitGibbon presidency was a horrifying thing to contemplate, I can confidently state that no one, not one, fathomed the full potential for this utterly definitive clusterfuckery.

Do you remember the party game where you try to come up with the best new collective noun for a group listed on a randomly chosen card? I do believe I have a winner here:

That’s a useful word indeed.

Countdown to a certain five-letter-named Doper jumping in to claim that they did indeed tell us so in 5…4…3…

Speak for yourself.

Everyone here called it “shrill” or “hyberbolic.”

I recognized early on we were headed toward a new reality - and by no means is this anywhere near being over. The problem isn’t Trump; it’s always been what Trump’s election represents, and who he represents. The sad reality is that there are enough people who have an authoritarian mindset in this country that it now actually matters, which wasn’t the case when people screamed that George W Bush or Bill Clinton was a Nazi

Collusion!

…and right on time.

It’s like you’re psychic!
