The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Lickspittle?

I heard he LIKES BEER.

Shot down by Chief Justice Pneumonia.

Facebook takes down Trump ads 'for violating our policy against organized hate.

In fact, in his majority argument, Roberts actually called out Kavanaugh by name for his arguments against the ruling.

Individual 1: “I did something good: I made Juneteenth very famous. It’s actually an important event, an important time. But nobody had ever heard of it.”

President Trump said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal published Thursday that he personally thinks testing for coronavirus is “overrated,” arguing that it has led to an increase in confirmed cases in the U.S. that “makes us look bad.”
:smack:

If he thinks the testing makes us look bad, I wonder what he thinks of the mass graves?

Out of sight, out of his mind.

And oh, Trumpie is pissed.

Trump to release new list of conservative Supreme Court nominees.

Keep praying for the health of RBG.

Ya know, there may be a nugget of truth in this. I imagine there are a lot of people who are hearing about Juneteenth for the first time. Ignorance fought, but no thanks to Trump.

It’s strange to say “Nobody had ever heard of it” when he himself says he heard about it from a black secret service agent.

That tells you a lot about Trump. “Nobody” = “no white person”.

Any time Trump has never heard of something, he says that nobody has ever heard of it.

Looking at that photo, I see him gliding along stiffly a few inches above the floor, like The Gentlemen from Buffy.

Is that supposed to be a threat?

… he knows he can’t fire Supreme Court judges, right?

We’re not really sure what he knows at this point. But I originally read through the article looking for a comment along those lines.

Even if he could nominate a new Supreme Court Justice, the Senate wouldn’t be able to confirm the nominee because it’s so close to an election and they would have to wait until after the election was over, right? RIGHT??!!

He’s hinting at packing the court.

No, of course he can’t. But Mitch McConnell has been reaching out to conservative retirement-age judges on the federal bench to encourage them to retire now, while the Republicans control the Senate. They already have filled dozens of judicial seats with conservative judges, often picking people who are relatively young. It helps that they deliberately refused to confirm judicial nominees proposed during the Obama administration. In short, they’re trying to stack the federal courts as much as they can.

There’s also nothing that says the SCOTUS can’t have more than nine judges.
