I’m pretty sure that this gives the SIC and/or SC Mueller cause to subpoena the tapes, since her comments elevate things from “rumored to exist” to “likely do exist”.
Of course, it would be easier if we had a modern-day Butterfield…
The following line has been removed under the “Some of Mr. Wray’s recent representations since rejoining the firm include:” heading:
"An energy company president in a criminal investigation by Russian authorities. "
To me, her comments don’t seem to add any evidence of tapes.
And, after all, she is like the second or third biggest liar in the White House.
Now that Prezident Tramp (which is the literal translation I get from a English to Russian translation website) has lawyered up, there will be even less truth (<0) coming from the WH.
Again, I have to ask, who supports this shit? Who asked for this? What contingent of voters saw the 2008 crash and thought, “Yeah, let’s get rid of all the regulations in place to help prevent that from happening again?”
Didn’t even have to read that far to get my answer:
I answered a poll from his campaign before the election, and I continue to get daily emails from them. The one yesterday was all about the swamp.

Crotalus,
WE MUST DRAIN THE SWAMP!
Far too many unelected bureaucrats entrenched in our government push their own agenda and defy the will of the American people.
We’ve already started cleaning house, but we MUST go deeper.

Then there’s some bumper-sticker-like graphics, and it continues…
It’s kinda fun to see what the moron thinks is important on any given day.
The important thing about Dodd-Frank is that it prevents banks that are insured by the government from making certain kinds of high risk investments, like the ones that led to the crash and that ridiculous bailout back in 2008.
With its repeal, bankers can make the riskiest bets and don’t have to worry about a thing- if they win, they keep the profits. If they lose and crash their bank, the government picks up the tab, screwing the public once again. That’s the kind of personal responsibility that the working poor really need to figure out
But people like our friend Okie can put down their skull-and-upside-down-flag pom poms- the Senate doesn’t have the 60 votes they need to pass it.
Lawrence O’Donnell opined last night that there are no tapes since Trump’s lawyer flat out denied the loyalty pledge. Of course, maybe there is no tape of that dinner meeting because it took place in the main White House instead of the West Wing and it would be hard to mike up the room. Then again, maybe Trump had a cell phone in his pocket recording the dinner and they are just that stupid to claim something a recording would contradict.
