The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Yes, but he has no recollection of the question.

Just like no one murdered Jack the Ripper’s victims because no one was ever caught?

Mr. Poe. Please pick up the white courtesy phone.

Bob Inglis, former Republican Representative from SC, and as someone directly involved in the impeachment of Bill Clinton, someone who can’t be dismissed as a left wing stooge, wrote an editorial pretty much stating that the Republican party has lost its goddamn mind.

He put his finger right on it here. From that link:

Yanked away. As usual.

There’s nothing that could happen that you wouldn’t troll away with this kind of answer. No matter what happens, you’ll have a trolling quip like this ready.

Troll away, troll.

Sessions is a Trump loyalist I never expected him to fall on his sword or otherwise implicate his master.

No, the white phone.

Go do your yanking somewhere else.

That makes his testimony easier to refute. He says he never had any dealings with the Russians. So all you need is evidence of one dealing to prove him a liar. That’s the problem with the all or nothing loyalty approach. Easy to be hoisted by your own petards.

He should take notes. Maybe Comey could help him with that

Probably not enough meat on this for a thread, but I didn’t know where the hell else to plunk this, so:

A kinda feel-good newsy thing for Nevada?

As long as Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval doesn’t fucking veto this (by Friday at the latest), it’s a go. Not sure what’s holding back Cali or NY, here.

What about the claw-back provisions in Medicaid? How do they work under this legislation? I read the article and I don’t see this mentioned.

Were it my state, I’d be a lot more comfortable if it was MediCARE being offered alongside regular insurance options – not MediCAID. The claw-back provisions can end up taking everything you own.

It might be time to start a single payer omnibus thread. Since we are going to see several states at least consider enacting this, I think it would be helpful. I’ll and get it set up either later tonight or tomorrow. If you want to beat me to it, feel free. (IMHO or MPIMS do you think?)

I voted for Gov. Sandoval twice; he’s a good guy. I think he’ll sign this even tho he doesn’t have to in order for it to become a law.[

](Nevada moves closer to a landmark Medicaid-for-all healthcare model)That’s what he said last week when the bill made its way to his desk.

But as long as he doesn’t veto it by the 16th, it becomes law. Myself, I’d prefer that he endorse the law by signing it and I’m pretty sure he will.

Good idea. (Didn’t I see a similar thread thereabouts? Search is acting all wonky on me again.) I’m guessing there’d be mainly opinions on this, so - IMHO? There’s definitely a lot more mundane things out there than universal health care.
I’m gonna wait for search to, um, get its fucking shit together, and locate the thread, before I try starting a new one, myself.

Good idear. I’ll leave it to the elder statespersons on the board to start the thread.

It’s not nothing. Everybody now has seen Sessions lie under oath. It’s and old lie, and almost certainly not provable, but he has now taken an oath and stood behind that ridiculous story about how in March, when it was perfectly convenient for Trump, he suddenly decided Comey had to go for being mean to Hillary in October, after praising it in November. And now that he has absolutely proven he has some dirt on his hands, by lying under oath, they have to wonder how much there is.

GD I think.
