The Education Department announced Wednesday that it will change two key Obama-era rules governing student loan forgiveness in cases involving fraud and misconduct by universities.

Who would have thunk it?

Now how can anyone who voted for Trump even remotely explain the benefit of this to white working class voters? Oh wait for it:

On a serious note, though, it reinforces the conclusion I’ve reached about a lot of republicans these days. There’s a mixed form of capitalism that has worked well for a lot of people in a lot of countries over the past 50-80 years, and then there’s the other kind of cut-throat capitalism that tea party types and Trumpists believe in. In the latter type, capitalism is a zero-sum game of winners and losers, of survival or death. And if you get scammed by a predatory lender, well, that’s just too bad - they’re the smart ones and you’re the dumb one. And you’re just not fit for survival.

The “anonymous sources” that NYT reported breathlessly told it Comey is going to testify that he never told Trump three times that he was not under investigation. Yet he testified that he did. Actually three times.

Or this one: “In his Thursday testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, former FBI director James B. Comey said that a controversial New York Times story in February about alleged contacts between Trump intimates and Russian officials was bogus.”
