Maybe it’s just me, but the whole “you’re not under investigation” thing always seemed to me to be kind of somewhat deliberately misleading doubletalk on Comey’s part - as in, Trump the ever altruist wanted to know if he, himself was personally being looked at (and fuck everyone else) ; while Comey would answer “no, you’re not under investigation (not personally, we’re looking at the globality of Russia’s involvement of which you are only one part)”. A mathematician’s or lawyer’s answer if you will.
