The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

It’s these voters I would think would no longer be supporting Trump. The “I didn’t want to but I had to” voters. I work with some of them. They acknowledged the truth about Trump but wanted that SC seat because of guns or abortion. And they got it. I’m curious what they think now but I’m afraid to ask.

Drat. Think of the savings in legal bills.
(For the country, I mean.)

It’s for this reason that I consider it particularly puzzling that climate change denial is the hill on which many conservatives have chosen to firmly plant their flag. Whether climate change is caused by humankind requires expert knowledge most people don’t have, but that it is happening doesn’t. And while many conservatives admit it’s happening, other still insist the entire thing is a hoax.

But watching time-lapse pictures of centuries-old glaciers retreating in a few decades doesn’t require expert knowledge. The concrete evidence of the [del]melting[/del] opening of the Northwest Passage – additional Coast Guard patrols, Northwest Passage cruises for sale – doesn’t. :smack: Climate change isn’t just an important issue in and of itself, it’s a canary in the coal mine for some people’s increasing willingness to believe, and believe fervently, contrary to evidence. It’s also my confirmation why “I’ve picked my sect, and I believe in it.”

To steal a link enlazi posted in the solar wall thread,
Trμmp told the lawmakers they could talk about the idea with others, but on one condition: They had to say it was his idea.
My question is, was he always like this? I feel fairly confident that self-absorption is a life-long trait, but this much is just fucked up. Has he been regressing?

But every mid-afternoon, he’s debilitated by psychosomatic pain!

Each day… Tooth hurty!

Yes, and quite clearly too. There are things out on the internet that show the vast difference in his vocabulary and comprehension between earlier days and now.

I called an acquaintance of mine on that particular issue. Did not get a useful response.

I asked, why don’t right wingers deny the germ theory? I mean, tiny things we can’t see, that can kill us? Preposterous! Eliminate disinfectants in hospitals - think of the money we’ll save!

How about the laws of thermodynamics? “Thermo-what? You talk like a fag, and your shit’s all retarded.” Perpetual motion for everyone!

That much I am aware of – I may have even posted one of those pieces in this here thread. I am more interested in the emotional element: it seems as though he may have been able to control his narcissism in the past, but has lost that ability. Or I/we just did not notice it so much before because he was not hung out on the prow like he is now.

Yeah, that day that Trump had all the Ruskies sequestered in the Oval Office-- how likely is it that one of them planted a bug somewhere?

Can you imagine if they decided to deny mathematics? “A[sup]2[/sup] + B[sup]2[/sup] = C[sup]2[/sup] is just a theorem!”

Dixie cup joke!

Shit For Brains wants to build a “Solar Wall” on the U.S.-Mexico border.

“We are thinking about building a wall as a solar wall,” he said. “So it creates energy. And pays for itself. And this way, Mexico will have to pay much less money. And that’s good, right? Is that good? You are the first group I’ve told that to. It makes sense. Let’s see. We are working it out. Solar wall panels. Think of it, the higher it goes, the more valuable it is. Pretty good imagination, right? My idea. We have a good shot. That’s one of the places where solar really does work. At the tremendous sun and heat. We will see what happens.”

The fun part, of course, will be policing the wall for people with water balloons full of paint.

There is an entire thread started about three weeks ago, on the subject of whether this is his way of trying to get liberals onboard with the wall idea.

ha! good one

 Oh Trump is WELCOME to own that idea. Unfortunatly many of his supporters will think it’s great.

[sub]psssst. Oh President Truummmmp… Solar Freaking Roadways[/sub]

Donald Trump wins standing ovation from hayseeds at rally for proposing immigration law that already exists :smack:

45’s reassurance “we’ll see what happens” at the end of all his assurances are very reassuring.

All it needs now is Bluetooth.

Except, as pointed out twice upthread, it wasn’t Trump’s idea. He’s making everyone say it was his idea.

It’s like the Kim Jungs pretending they invented stuff.
