I use 538, which adjusts several polls for bias before doing some sort of averaging. They have him at +39.2%/-55% right now.

Really, though, the BSFI index is probably about 4/10[sup]ths[/sup] of that percentage. A lot more of the positives are like “Yeah, I guess. Whatevar, I got a lot of stuff to —— squirrel!”

I think Trump was right. He can do ANYthing, even shoot someone, and get away with it.

Even collusion with an enemy state and committing treason to usurp an election are “do-able” for him. And his nation of fan-boys are just fine with it.

I’m just starting to watch the first season of “Man in the High Tower”, based on the novel by Phillip K. Dick. It’s a dystopian novel that posits that Germany took over Britain, and then got the atomic bomb first, Nuked Washington DC and won the war.

I am having no problem whatsoever believing that a significant group of Americans would have loved to don a brown uniform, beat protesters and have a strong leader to salute.

The bidding process has been going on for years, but Chump has ethical problems there, just like with everything else:

“Reports that the federal government is pulling the plug on a new FBI headquarters reveals insurmountable Trump conflicts with GSA, FBI, and Vornado,” Rep. Gerald E. Connolly (D-Va.) said Monday night, referring to Vornado Realty Trust. “This is devastating news. Conflicts have consequences.”

Two the four bidders on the project have significant business ties to Trump and son-in-law Kushner, Vornado and Larry Silverstein.

All of these types of conflicts were easily anticipated, but the idiot American public decided it would be a great idea to elect an unvetted and financially compromised monkey to be prez. Well done us.

“There are lots of questions that have not been asked and answered (about climate change),” EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt told Reuters in an interview late on Monday.

“Who better to do that than a group of scientists… getting together and having a robust discussion for all the world to see,” he added without explaining how the scientists would be chosen.

Asked if he thought the debate should be televised, Pruitt said: “I think so. I think so. I mean, I don’t know yet, but you want this to be open to the world. You want this to be on full display. I think the American people would be very interested in consuming that. I think they deserve it.”
