The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Didn’t understand it at first, and still don’t.

Why would anyone get on Trumps three wheeled cart heading for a cliff?

You don’t need a PHD to see that a building is on fire.

They are jumping in the same cart with a man that can’t form a proper sentence.

…I feel sorry for the Secret Service men and women that are in charge of protecting him and no doubt showing him where the little boys room is.

Well played.

Self-leakage at the accelerated rate of deterioration he’s in - sure, why not.

I believe Scaramucci is that twerpy little cousin of Jerzy Kosinski’s.

All I can figure is that they think that they can jump out of the cart at the last minute, clutching a mitt full of cash.

:stuck_out_tongue:

He looks like Ray Wise should call his agent.

Donald explains:
The leaks are real. The news is fake.
At this point I would be happy to have a President who can follow a thought from beginning to end and will fully staff the various departments that have tumbleweeds blowing through them right now. Politics be damned, this country is getting hollowed out by termites at the top and it needs to be stopped.

Bold added.

More like “leaked stupidity.”

Orrin Hatch is the reason supplements are basically unregulated in this country.

Ah, that’s run-of-the-mill Republican greed and duplicity. Might have been news a few years ago, but Trumpsky and his cabal have raised the stakes WAY higher now.
Judgment in Cases of Impeachments shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust, or Profit under the United States…
There are only two punishments they can inflict:

 1. You’re out of office.
 2. And you can’t get back in.

If Congress were sufficiently angry enough to go as far as conviction, of course they were bar him from running again. It’s almost incomprehensible the GOP would go as far as conviction at all; to actually go that far we’d need absolutely slam-bang, no-doubt-about it evidence of treason so extensive that even Trumpists would turn against him, which would be an incredible amount of evidence indeed.

Yeah, don’t wanna get killed by shady supplements? Don’t take them. Don’t want to get killed by an incompetent short-fused immature world leader with access to the nuclear codes? Keep your fingers crossed!

My italic.

You mean one of these?

Can we slow our roll on the whole chain of command talk please? I despise Trump as next as the next person with functioning brain cells, but I’m not seeing Congressional Republicans ever putting country above party enough to actually impeach a Republican President. The investigations into Russia could easily find the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to harm Clinton’s chances, and then lied about it, but until the Republicans in power do anything about it, it’s not gonna happen. Trump could just pardon everyone, and, unless they stop being who they’ve been for the last few decades, Congressional Republicans would simply tsk tsk it away, or make excuses for it, and life will go on. Unless Trump somehow impedes their efforts to give the rich more tax breaks, or takes a hard line against the business interests of Republicans, I can’t envision them growing a spine.

One hope is that the voters will react to that appropriately. I dont expect many of the Trumpistas to change, they seem to be a lost cause, but maybe more Democrats will actually bother to go to the polls in an off year election.

That would be great, although highly unlikely to change anything of substance. They would still need a sizable number of Republicans to vote both for impeachment, and then a good chunk of Republicans in the Senate to vote for removal after a trial (2/3 of the Senate. Which is why it’s never been done before).

I suppose Trump could just resign if it gets to impeachment, but I don’t see Republicans actually doing anything to hold him accountable. Party before country.

Exactly. I long for the days of regular Republican stupidity. Even Shrubya’s looking good now and that was a feat I would have though impossible only a year ago.

While pondering a great debates thread about how the world would look if ruled by women I was curious who would be president if all men suddenly up and died.

Answer: Betsy Devos

One of the very few people in government who is actually less qualified to be running the country than Trump.

(Elaine Chao is higher up the list but wasn’t born in the US and so isn’t eligible)

From the opposite side of the aisle: Cynthia McKinney.

I think you misunderstood Buck Godot’s post. DeVos is actually the first eligible woman in the line of succession and so would be prez if all males disappeared! Mckinney hasn’t been in congress since 2007 and is in line for nothing.
