It’s more than talk. Republicans have a bill that bundles sanctions against Russia for meddling in the election with sanctions against North Korea and Iran. It was designed this way because if Trump vetoes the Russian sanctions, he looks weak on North Korea and Iran too.

Who was it who suggested a new White House position of “handler of the president”? You really should have run with that. Qualifications list would be identical to any other teacher of kindergartners. Actually, Ive been thinking that what this White House needs is a good sex scandal – despite all the other ridiculousness they’ve been positively chaste. Of course, with the only females around being KellyAnne. Sarah Huckabee Saunders and Ivanka- the specifics too disturbing to contemplate.
But maybe they’ll add a Moochie Kush triangle to the storyline of this presidency to keep us tuned in. Because sometimes Barbie gets bored with Ken and wants a shot at GI Joe.
I think they’re doing that because they all know perfectly fucking well that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the election - they just like to play dumb while dismissing the overwhelming body of evidence because they think it was a righteous move to save the country from Hillary. Just like they play dumb and pretend to believe what’s going on in the White House is normal.
But because they know Russia, and they know Trump - they somehow feel compelled to at least make it difficult for Trump to keep his end of the bargain.
I won’t be surprised if there was another Trump-Russia revelation next week - leaked by the Russians. Sort of their way of leaving a severed horse head in the Lincoln bedroom

Not exactly sure how that’s could possibly be considered a good idea.
