I think people thought it would keep people from voting for Trump. It didn’t.
It’s fine to personally laugh at or mock a Nazi, though doubt it would do anything. I don’t think it’s fine to make that all we do.

Among the concerns are his repeated assertions that he would have won the popular vote had 3 to 5 million “illegals” not voted in the 2016 election, a claim echoed by the head of a White House advisory committee on voter fraud.
Claims of large-scale voter fraud are not true, but that has not stopped a substantial number of Republicans from believing them. But how far would Republicans be willing to follow the president to stop what they perceive as rampant fraud? Our recent survey suggests that the answer is quite far: About half of Republicans say they would support postponing the 2020 presidential election until the country can fix this problem.

No. Nazis will, as always, see that as weakness. We need to have the law arrest them charge them and imprison them. We have laws on the books for that already. And televise every time another one melts down into a sobbing whiny self pitying blubbering mess.
Rioting, assault, incitement, maybe even sedition, brandishing of weapons, intimidation,etc etc etc. Anything that will stick. But that means next time, the cops can’t just stand around doing nothing. They get in there and do their job. Make the arrests and file the charges. Imagine if the Nazis are not white, how many would have been firehosed, clubbed, dog bit or shot. So why not enforce that same thing on Nazis??? And if the cops won’t make the arrests it, fire them and get some who will.
Nazis only respect force. Well let the LAW give them exactly that.
I’m just thinking of what DC comics did with Superman during the last resurgence of the KKK. They sent a spy to infiltrate Klan meetings and then they mocked the hell out of their dumb rituals. And it appears to have made a difference.
Bannon is likely out soon (though we’ve heard this before). But, CNBC reporting that he is not on Air Force One as it heads to Camp David right now.

ETA: I see that in this particular poll, 49% “identify with or lean toward the Republican Party”, and 47% of them would support postponing the election. That’s still only 26% of those polled.
