Also, doesn’t her demographic love Dolly? (Everyone should; the woman’s amazing. But I’d expect Ms. Parton to be more popular among conservative republicans than among the population in general.)
It’s kind of sad that this reminded me of the Trumpcare debate.
30 million Americans didn’t lose healthcare, only because some Republicans were worried the cuts were a *little too extreme, and some other Republicans were adamant that the cuts weren’t extreme *enough.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump intentionally did it to goad Kelly in hopes that he might get the general to quit. He apparently hates the military discipline that’s been imposed in his White House, and he’s just that much of a fucking reptile that he really has no sense of decency or sacredness.
All of this right wing shit fest over Colin Kaepernick disrespecting the flag, and yet here we have a president lies like a goddamn adulterer Pinnochio trying to cover up a tryst and not a word.
Wilson said she hoped President Shitstain didn’t treat the other three families the same way. I think there’s a good chance he didn’t, because the other three soldiers were white.
To even imagine that an (R) might be treated like a (D) in such a case shows gross ignorance of GOP amorality and America’s psychological collapse.
If you asked Republicans to assign blame for the Zibougu Massacre, at least 38% would click “All of the blame lies on Obama and Clinton.” Even though there’s no such place as Zibougu.
Agreed. Responding to obsessive Benghazi chants by pointing out that there were 20 fatal attacks on U.S. embassies under Bush’s administration, not to mention 9/11, are generally just met with rants about “those damn Muslims” or pivoting to unrelated criticisms of the other guys; not any reflection on what, if anything, made Benghazi a scandal worth investigating for 8 years.
^ Longest run-on sentence I’ve ever made without trying, but too lazy to fix it.
I certainly have no problem with your slightly long but very apt sentence, Mr. Proofreader. You’re in good company:
(Admittedly, Dr. King closed this letter with the observation “I can assure you that [this letter] would have been much shorter if I had been writing from a comfortable desk …”)
That is sheer genius. Dolly is beloved by both left and right alike, and Dollywood is the only place in the country where the religious right and drag queens intersect in peaceful (if temporary) co-existence. And she expanded her Imagination Library to the UK not all that long ago, so she’s even got international experience.
