NO GODDAMMIT IT’S NOT EVEN HALLOWEEN YET! GAH! I swear to God if I see one Santa hat where vampire fangs should be any time between now and the 31st I’m burning the place down.
For socking, not for hate speech. And he can still read the board.
Ok, this cracked me up. Thanks!

Reports now are Traitor Trump is going to pay $430,000 worth of his staff’s legal fees in the Russian investigation. I am assuming the staff must report this as income to the IRS. Is that correct?
Serving staff only? Isn’t anyone in need of legal counsel likely to “resign”? And is that $430K each or dividing among god-knows-how-many?
Only if he actually pays it.
Trump voting commission criticized for lack of transparency
This past week, two members fired off letters to commission staff complaining about a lack of information about the panel’s agenda and demanding answers about its activities. That comes as Democratic U.S. senators are requesting a government investigation of the commission for ignoring formal requests from Congress.
The criticism from the commissioners was remarkable because it came from insiders — the very people who are supposed to be privy to its internal discussions and plans.
In a letter sent Oct. 17, Maine Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap said it was clear he was not being made aware of information pertaining to the commission. He requested copies of all correspondence between commission members since Trump signed the executive order creating it in May.

Beat me to it. Trump sees his debts the way most people view New Year’s resolution: sound good at the time and absolutely no intent or effort to follow through.

Sherrerd:
I had missed the fact of that amendment. Yikes.
If T-admin people connive at the death of five presidents and hundreds or thousands of others, and through their position of power are able to quash all investigations into the matter—and through this Executive Order and other powers of the Executive office are able to silence all dissent and physically restrain (or worse) all those in the military or law enforcement who question the situation and could otherwise oppose the power grab…
…in that situation, given that about 25% of the US population would welcome a police state and another 25% would consider it their lot in life to adjust to one without demur…
…given all that, could the fascists be stopped?
All our dependence would be on Canada and other armed democracy-loving nations, I suspect. And they’d have reason to oppose a fully-totalitarian USA, beyond political philosophy: a fully-totalitarian USA would be a belligerent, empire-craving USA. China’s government, as authoritarian as it is itself is, would certainly exert itself if the alternative were American territorial aggression.
…well, this is getting wildly speculative. But in some ways it doesn’t feel all that wild, because we know that Trump and his closest advisers are authoritarians at heart, and not overly burdened with anything in the way of principles or honor.
Here’s hoping the security at the concert, tonight, is ample, extremely alert, and good at their jobs.
This is jay_jay level of nuttiness.
Wait, I missed this before? The Executive Director of the Commission on Election Integrity is Andrew Kossack? Kossack? Come on, now, they are just fucking with us, right?

Oh! I wasn’t even aware of that one.
I just want to say I think “Jay Jay and the Octopus” would be a great name for a wacky drive-time radio show.
No, no, Trump has* promised* to pay $430,000 worth of his staff’s legal fees. Whether he’s going to pay it is still an open question.
Tom Steyer’s first anti-Trump ad.
