The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

If that’s how you define whether something is good for Trump or not, then he’s invincible.

You got it.

If you see Trump commit some action, and the people on this board post about how wrong it is, then just remember, the people who voted for Trump are happy that he did that action. Because it made “liberals” cry.

Appoint a moron for Sec Ed? Haha, stupid liberals are crying, so it’s good!

Ban Muslims? haha, stupid liberals are crying, so it’s good!

Chastise Al Franken but not Moore? haha, stupid liberals are crying, so it’s good!

Some of the quotes at that blog [I’d have left posters’ names but feared that was against sdmb rules, is it?]

I noticed two celebrities; their names are on-topic, no? What is the check mark? - two of the names I erased were checked — did the check “suggest” I could leave those names visible? ?? — (Excuse me if this question just shows my technology ignorance.)

Ah, it’s because they’re relatives of even bigger celebrities. Stephen King is the illegitimate son of boxing promoter Don King. And Reza Aslan is of course the grand-daughter of the “metaphorical lion” of Narnia.

Actually, I googled “twitter checkmark” and they identify “verified accounts”.

Kind of difficult with all the people being dragged underneath.

Twitter right now is under fire for check marking a number of Nazi accounts, including Richard Spencer. They have since taken away their check marks, but announced that check marks just mean that they have been verified as belonging to the people claiming the name, and not an endorsement of them.

I just searched but couldn’t find the name of the comedian who suggested, yesterday, that perhaps “Unverified Status” will become the new euphemism for White Supremacist.

That sounds like a great way to lose Florida and Arizona in the next elections.

They’ll blame Obama and be fine.

I saw a comparative image the other day that has led me to conclude, based on the disturbing obvious similarities, that we have been deceived. The middle name of the central subject of this thread is actually “Jeltz”. He has been trying his poetry out on us, and it has not been going well.

sadly, this is too true

or Clinton, it doesn’t really matter.

What’s fascinating to me is the trumpers realize Medicaid is a social welfare program and despise those who need it, but do not realize Medicare is also social welfare. Of course they have no problem with the latter government assistance. Of course thr trumpers also believe undocumented aliens are raking in the dough via Medicare, too, so let’s not believe the trumpers are practiced in thinking.

Slightly off-topic, and hopefully not already posted anywhere - Samantha Bee recently did a piece on how Vice President Teflon-Coated-Smoothie-Jaberwocky made a prescient 2003 tribute in the House to someone he considered large, orange, slovenly, lazy.

Trump supporters are now demanding Hillary’s impeachment:

Putting the 'tard in Republitard

I’m all in favor of impeaching Hillary as soon as possible. I think that if the House appoints her Speaker (since the Speaker doesn’t need to be a member of the House), and then Trump and Pence resign, we’ll be good to go!

I don’t think the Senate will convict, of course.

“Law clerk by day, ghost hunter by night, now Trump’s judiciary nominee”

Has never tried a case. Hunts ghosts. Oh goody. What favor is Thump repaying with this?

His wife works for White House Counsel’s Office, a fact he forgot to mention

The Republican Party cares deeply about you before you are born and after you are dead.

And in fact has been talked to by the Mueller team. The nomination of her husband could be considered witness tampering.

An alien raking in the dough via Medicare I can believe, but there’s no way Rick Scott is undocumented!
