Have you stopped beating your wife?
But thanks to the Republicans, they’ll have no problem buying guns.
More Putin/Russia connections:
The news is reporting Congress – or some Senate committee? – has ordered the administration not to destroy ANY documents that may relate to Russian contacts by anyone on the Trump team. Could this be a second Watergate in the making? Or is this just purely routine? Or maybe this is just some more fake news.
My newsletter revealed that Putin has connections to Russia several months ago.
So much for my google-fu. (gettin sleepy…)
Curious if any previous administrations, a month into office, had as few as 60 out of a possible 691 White House positions filled.
Hey, what does he need people for? He’s so smart he can do it all himself with just a couple of family members. When you hire others, sooner or later they say mean things about you and you have to fire them anyway, so why bother?
Trump’s information security woes continue. A site apparently used to collect campaign donations has been compromised and defaced. Yesterday afternoon, the site secure2[dot]donaldjtrump[dot]com was replaced with a film noir style image of a guy in a fedora, and the text:
The site was down as of 4:00 PM Eastern yesterday.
I was one of those who criticized Clinton for being an idiot with her email server, although it was not a big enough issue for me to keep me from voting for her. But after Trump and many of his supporters beat that issue to death, it’s surprising* that Trump’s ineptitude in the security area is not getting more attention from Trump and criticism from his disappointed supporters.
*Not really surprising.
Because he has declared such reports to be “fake news” and the faithful believe it like gospel.
For the record, it wasn’t me.
Of course it wasn’t!
You would say that, wouldn’t you?
How’s that working for them???
Trump is very well known, from all his lawsuits, of “losing” documentation exactly when he needs to, even when judges order him to produce records. He will override or ignore any orders to not “lose” or destroy records same as always.
I don’t know if this belongs here, per se, but we’ve got another dead Russian ambassador on our hands. Assassinated? Too soon to say, but the dude *did *drop dead suddenly at his desk in NYC after “falling ill” earlier in the day. Is that the sound of Trump’s anus puckering that I hear?
I don’t know about you, but if I have any sort of connection to Moscow, “falling ill” would be one off my biggest fears.
This is going to make a great movie someday.
Was there an umbrella lying nearby?
A felt-tip pen. The kind that can be read from across the room.
Man dies at the exact age he is expected to die as a Russian male (64).
The real story here is: why are Russians so sick? Is it the vodka?
The average life expectancy for Russian men isn’t because most die at 64, but because so many die before 55. So if you make it past 55 you should have more than 9 years left.
This article does suggest it may be the vodka.
I’m familiar with that logic from infant mortality rates being factored into life expectancy, but I don’t think it works that way for drinking yourself to death.
