Only in double slit configurations.
It seems apparent that he is not as “sharp” as he was 20 or 10 or even 5 years ago. I feel like he was even more in control of his mental faculties when descended that escalator into our lives 2.5 years ago.
So, if we are actually watching someone fall into senility or dementia, I’m wondering: Is there any typical timetable for how long the decline takes? What do we have to expect in the next year or three that he will perhaps be in our lives?
At least they’ve lost the “‘Person’s briefed about the meeting’, ‘anonymous sources’ whatever. #MAGA”-excuse after Senator Durbin confirmed the contents of the reports:
Single slits get grabbed.
The rate at which one loses cognitive function due to mental degradation is often related to how much stress they are under.
Does trump have a stressful job?
I’m not sure. He seems to watch TV a lot.
Breaking news from my Twitter feed - “Entire squadron of F-52s defects to Nambia.”
TV definitely has been stressing me out more in the past year+ for some reason.
That was an amazing albeit brief speech; thank you for that link naita.
And Senators Perdue and Cotton “don’t recall” Trump using those words.
Shouldn’t they be paying attention when their President speaks? Or maybe they’re both experiencing rapid cognitive decline, and should be examined by a doctor. I mean, what other explanation could there be?
If they had an sense at all, they were listening to the Hamilton soundtrack during the meeting. I could get behind that explanation.
Cannabis is legal in the District of Columbia. I have heard that it can affect one’s memory.
And that’s exactly what I - and probably most of us here - predicted their response would be. It’s one thing for Eric Greitens to deny that he intended to blackmail his ex lover with revenge porn - that’s classic he said/she said. What the GOP is doing is trying to gaslight the country. Unfortunately, they’re probably correct in their assumptions that the average person just processes this as another day in Trumpland.
It’s telling that they’re only going as far as saying they don’t recall it. They’re not actually denying it. They’re leaving themselves enough room to walk it back if and when Trump’s story collapses.
I’ve noticed that this story is getting a different response than most of Trump’s screw-ups. Because even some Republicans are publicly condemning Trump. In some cases that might indicate genuine outrage. In other cases, it might be politicians reading the numbers and figuring they need to distance themselves from Trump to save their own careers.
Either way, this could be the beginning of the real end for Trump. If Republicans decide that Trump is more dangerous as a friend than as an enemy, they’ll turn on him.
Why yes, I’m sure optimism is warranted this time!
If I had a nickel for every time I thought it was the beginning of the end for Trump, I’d have at least a couple dollars by now.
It’s refreshing to not see exaggeration here. I’d have a couple of bucks too.
My problem is that I pay hundreds of dollars for non refundable reservations for a celebration that it is is finally the beginning of the end for trump.
That adds up fast, spare a nickel?
During Obama’s two terms, my coworker had a picture of smirking Bush with the caption, “Miss me yet?”
Yes, now I do.
Is it as horrible in person as it looks on my tv? I feel like we need start an apology tour for it.
