I have thought this too. She may be mainly afraid of her being shamed or sued beyond belief if she ever says anything against or even mildly anti-orange yam in this whole mess.
Actually, no. She had done some spreads but most of her job was mainstream.
Her husband’s supporters are xenophobes, and she is an immigrant who doesn’t speak 100% perfect English. Of course she’s scared.
Remember, during the campaign, there was a question of whether she had been working here illegally.
And there will be no pardon coming from her husband. There’s a pre-nup at stake.
Does she even have a dime in her own name? The pre-nup is probably more complicated and convoluted than trumps tax returns.
Anyone that is willingly close to trump has been shamed. And shammed.
And yes. I suspect she is scared.
Melania knows how ruthless Donald can be, and she also knows that he tends to get away with whatever he wants to do to people. Who wouldn’t be scared? It’s like being married into the mob.
If Tom Steyer really wanted to fight Trump, he should set up legal defense funds and financial support for all these women. Much more effective than impeachment ads.

To be fair, Trump’s other ex-wives have done OK for themselves.
The difference being that it was Trump who wanted the divorce because he had a new one.
On the other way round they would’ve been destroyed.
I have to believe n that both Ivana and Marla have divorce settlements that take care of them quite well, in exchange for very punitive legal language in which they’ve agreed to never say a negative word about Donald.

Yep. This was detailed in a book put together by the WSJ a while back called Trump Revealed. Marla was getting 350,000 per month alimony contingent on a non-disclosure agreement with Twitler.
How much would Melania Trump get in a book deal if she went to a publisher and said “I wanna write/have written for me, a biography. The title should be Me Too, and I’ll let you guess from that what he contents will be”? She’d get a hundred million dollars. They couldn’t print them fast enough.
The kind of joke narrative about Melania Trump is that she’s a prisoner of the marriage. I think a likelier explanation is that she actually likes being married to Donald Trump. I think it’s quite possible she kind of agrees with Trump on a lot of things. She might well be a racist.
There could be a NDA in along with the pre-nup, which would also take any earning she may make by spilling the “fake news” of her experiences with trump.

The fact is that we (the general public) know next to NOTHING about the private Melania Trump, so all of this speculation and chin-wagging is 100% pointless. And boring. Even more pointless and boring than some of the other tangents this board has flown off on.
