Short of direct divine intervention, in the form of a fatal lightning strike, I have NO idea.
Well, it was a big deal for the truck driver and his family.
What I mean is that it is potentially a politically big deal. Let me put it this way: what if that had been a train full of Democrats, including Hillary and Obama. Would the Republicans just blow it off as an accident?
Which I mentioned.
Probably not, but the Republicans in question are moronic pieces of shit. I’m not seeing them choosing to do something as a reason for intelligent people with remaining morals to follow suit.
Alex Jones et. al. would have wondered what that poor, innocent truck driver had done to get on the bad side of the Hillary Contingent (they’re not Obama’s Blammers any more, right?) such that he had to be killed to keep him quiet with everything he knew about the kiddie porn pizza place and the nuns smuggling heroine and the endangered species restaurant and the program to put the mark of the beast on everyone’s kids, etc., etc…
You mean, would the driver be nominated for Secretary of Transportation?
Oh Alex Jones…
Congress doesn’t seem fussed.
So what? If enough legislators agree to the definition, that’s the definition they’ll use. This is law, not science.
In any case, this could turn out to make the elections of 2016 (and its aftermath) seem like child’s play. I think the Republicans are now thinking about setting up the ultimate crisis, and posing the ultimate question for this country going forward: are we really a democratic republic, or just a republic that uses some flawed form of “democracy” to legitimize the rule of the ruling class?
Fuck.
I mean, if only that was not so damn spot on.
Alex Jones is a member of the Trump Administration?
You know he’s not. If you keep posing absurd questions to make a veiled point of some kind, people will stop playing with you. It’s a juvenile way of conducting a discussion.
What is your point? Someone upthread mentioned Alex Jones in relation to the train crash, so I posted this.
But really, all this Alex Jones nonsense fuels the pig-ignorance that gave us this Trump administration, so yeah, it’s all part of the whole clusterfuck.
Well, I thought this was a thread about the Trump Administration. I thought that because the title of the thread is “The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making”
I wasn’t aware that Alex Jones was a member of the Trump Administration. If he is not, then whatever stupid shit he says shouldn’t be posted in this thread.
Dude, I don’t know whether you’re drunk or being difficult tonight, but fucking knock it off already.
Really? Are you and **ThelmaLou **just tag teaming people as assholes or what? It’s a perfectly legitimate question. Post your stupid Alex Jones shit in a thread that is not about the Trump administration. It’s not hard, there are numerous threads for that.
I wasn’t aware that you were a moderator and got to tell people what they could post and where.
I wasn’t aware you were a moderator and got to tell people to “fucking knock it off already”
Calm down, man. Really, for all practical purposes, Alex Jones is in the West Wing. He is like the undersecretary for bullshit distribution.
20 out of 30 posts before Alex Jones post are about today’s train crash or the possibility of Congress postponing the midterms. Yet my Alex Jones post, which wasn’t entirely out of place in the train discussion as well as the earlier mention of Alex Jones, is what makes you go nutso? Two days of discussing comic book movies in this thread, yet this is what triggers you? More than a year of posts and various sidetracks-- from SNL to Universal Healthcare-- in this here thread, yet my post was your red line? Interesting…good to know.
