Tonight Rachel Maddow reported on a leaked report produced by the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis in cooperation with various other agencies. Maddow says the report comes to the conclusion: “We assess that most foreign-born U.S.-based violent extremists likely radicalized several years after their entry into the United States, limiting the ability of screening and vetting officials to prevent their entry because of national security concerns.”
So. That’s DHS’s own intelligence shop saying that “extreme vetting” is probably not that effective.
I think we just found out what the hell is going on.
