The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

Very true.

Furthermore, what are typical smears? “S/he flirted with someone other than spouse”? “Used his/her office for financial gain”? Surely even Republicans, if their IQ is above moron level, will detect a whiff of a double-standard in such charges by now.

Yes, about 80% of Republicans are morons, but 20% should be enough to swing the election.

No, it doesn’t come across as a double standard to them. It comes across as “all politicians are crooks, so you might as well vote for one who’s more like you.”

That’s why their “attack them where they’re strongest / you’re weakest” tactic works. Trump has questionable ties to Russia? Attack Hillary on her (tenuous) connection to Russia. Bush is a draft dodger? Attack John Kerry’s military record. Trump harassed women? Attack Hillary for helping her husband get away with harassment. Trump misused his charity foundation to evade taxes? Attack Hillary’s foundation.

He has to be worried, because while he is a thug and a goon, he also deals with other thugs and goons, just as ruthless and just as vicious.

He has to know that nobody is unreachable, including himself. It may not just be his money and his power at stake, it could be his life too, if the wrong people get squeezed too much over his bullshit.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

No, it will be THEIR fault. Screw that bullshit.

It won’t be either of their fault, because there aren’t enough of them to make a difference. Apathy in general will be low, and that fact will work against the republicans, because for every committed loon that stays home there will be two incensed moderates who turn out to vote against Trump.

(Presuming we’re talking about Trump being the republican candidate. If the pubs float somebody else all bets are off.)

They shouldn’t be. I’ve held the thought to myself for some time out of some misguided sense of politeness, but I’m just about ready to publicly equate voting for a Republican with crimes against humanity.

Meet the Trump Administration’s Wildlife Conservation Council

Stormy Daniels was physically threatened to stay silent about Trump.

We have the first Mafia president: he demands loyalty, surrounds himself with family because he doesn’t trust anyone else, and will threaten violence against anyone who dares to defy him.

We don’t know by whom. Could be rando internet trolls.

Jeff Sessions fires FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe days before his retirement, jeopardizing his pension.

On CNN, it’s being reported that McCabe found out he was fired by journalists asking his reaction.
Looks like “Spineless” Sessions is as much a coward as The Howling Yam.

This is just a warning shot to others who might act against him. He is a such a small man.

They’re all petty as fuck and have no class besides.

What a collection of world-class pricks in this so-called ‘administration’.

Oh well, a large flock of chickens appear to be coming to roost around Trump; I’m beginning to wonder which is going to get him to first, the Mueller investigation or Stormygate.

There was no need to fire McCabe, and had Trump & Sessions not authorized the firing of Comey, we wouldn’t even know who the hell he is.

I’ve been pointing this out for a while now but I’ll point it out yet again: the Trump administration is trying to politicize the DoJ and they could end up succeeding, and that would be a very, very ominous turn of events.

Consider this: just this past week, we’ve already had a law enforcement spokesman for the ICE resign because he felt that his agency had become so politicized that they insisted on telling falsehoods. We’re talking about DHS/ICE, one of the federal government’s more notable law enforcement agencies, essentially called out by one of its own for extreme politicization.

What makes us assume that this same kind of political tainting can’t occur at the DoJ, the FBI, or even the United States military? Folks, right now, we have a code red constitutional crisis, and if you deny it by labeling me a “chicken little”…you are a large part of the problem.

The Trump administration is a scourge on democracy.

In 1965, at age eleven, I took an odd interest in the Indonesian government. The coup didn’t make a lot of sense, both because of the similarity of their names and because, though he lost, Sukarno didn’t get fully overthrown for another year and a half.

This is just needlessly cruel.

The celebratory Tweet is just the icing on the turd.

I wonder what the response will be from the rank-and-file agents. I can’t imagine that seeing a guy work his way up in the Bureau for 20+ years, only to be fired as a result of a personal/political vendetta two days before his retirement, potentially losing the pension he earned, will go over too well.

Could law enforcement be yet another voting bloc turned away from the Republican Party by the douchebaggery of Trump? I mean, Trump (and the Pubs after him) seem to really be attacking law enforcement these days-- both the FBI and LEOs.
