The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making

This is a completely different Trump nomination. It wasn’t forged–it was submitted 2 months after nominations closed.

Ha Ha, that’s awesome!

Many people are saying it’s a tremendous honor just to be nominated. Very few people, very few, get nominated. So that’s a really, really great honor.

It doesn’t really matter though, since the whole thing was a Republicity stunt anyway. There is no way in hell that the Nobel committee would ever give Trump a prize. Kim Jong-Un is more likely to get a prize than Trump is.

And when Trump doesn’t get it, they get another issue to get all butthurt over, whine about the elites on the Nobel committee and rage about what a shithole country Norway is.

Isn’t that the country he most *wants *immigrants from?

Norway José?

José Cañusí, by the dawn’s early light

That was weeks ago. What has Norway done for us *lately *?

As with just about any Trump-related topic, Norway is a Schrödinger’s country the shitholeness of which cannot be ascertained at any given time until a tweet is made to inform the observer of Trump’s opinion. Do note that this opinion is only 100% valid for the time it takes to write the tweet, after which point we’re moving progressively but rapidly back into Quantum Trumpian Uncertainty.

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if they gave it to Obama again?

And the Nobel Prize for not bitch slapping the orange-racist-dumb-son-of-a-bitch goes to…

…Michelle Obama!

Yes, but it’s been going on for more than the last ten years. For decades now–really, for as long as I can remember-- there has always been at least one candidate claiming to be an “outsider” to Washington. That tune is as old as the hills. Trump was nothing new in that regard.

Least of all they themselves, in some cases. Many of the people who fall for Trump’s rhetoric of entitlement want to benefit from post-WWII economics forever, where they could have a comfortable upper middle-class life while barely graduating from high school. They can’t except that maybe short-term (re)training is necessary to benefit from the new ecomony. Instead, they think Trump is going to wave a magic wand for them while they sit on their asses watching the Apprentice.

Yes–Trump is not the first to exploit this. (Cruz was essentially trying to do the same thing.) Trump just employs full out, fantasy wish-fullfulment, “reality TV” rhetoric for those who think that because they are white they shouldn’t be the ones to suffer economically, even though non-whites are experiencing the exact same thing, if not worse.

Oh god, that picture.

“An act of painful defecation.”

The Bill and Crooked Hillary Foundation please.

So, the Chaplain has renounced his resignation, accusing Catholic Paul Ryan’s spokesperson of saying “maybe it’s time we had a Chaplain who wasn’t Catholic.”

25% of the people of Wisconsin, about half of those who claim religious affiliation, are Catholic.

In Jon Stewart’s America: The Book, there’s a photo of George W. Bush, with a caption reading something like, “This Connecticut-born, Harvard- and Yale-educated, governor of a major state, millionaire son of a former President ran in 2000 as an ‘outsider’. People are still wondering how the fuck he pulled that off.”

Yes, you are correct, sorry.

Second Sunday here - the first Sunday is the start of duckshooting season.
