It’s a long shot, of course, but some years ago a school chum gave me a tape featuring these and several other songs, all evidently by the same garage band. I played the tape till it wore out, and now for the life of me I can’t remember what the name of the group was. I’d kind of like to track down another recording of these songs if I can, as I thought they were pretty funny at the time.
“The Viking Song” tells the story of Sven and Smitty, two Vikings with differing philosophies of life.
“Joe Wants a Hamburger” is about a guy named Joe, who wants a hamburger.
