Well, they just listed “Pete”, AKA Dr Beater, as one of the ‘people we lost tonight’ on The Talking Dead, so I guess that answers that.
On the Talking Dead, the Dr. was listed as one of the dearly departed, so I think Rick shot him.
We went back and re-watched that bit, and I’m about 95% sure Rick shot Dr. Beater/Porch Dick - he was looking right at Deanna, and Deanna said, “Do it,” then Rick swivelled to look at Dr. Beater/Porch Dick and pulled the trigger. Then “The Talking Dead” had Dr. Beater/Porch Dick in their list of In Memoriam.
I loved Morgan showing up right then - “Uh, hi, Rick. You’re kind of busy right now; we can catch up later…”
I think it was pretty clear.
But I hate that kind of hypocrisy- when Rick wanted to kill him before he was too valuable an asset. Now that he killed Deanna’s husband she wants him dead.
Yeah, that was complete bullshit, but she gets to live with that - her husband would still be alive if she had listened to Rick yesterday.
And, three words for all y’all - Zombie Dance Party.
That scene with Morgan in the beginning, how many have died and will continue to die next season due to Morgan’s absurd refusal to kill the Wolves?
Guess blonde naked disemboweled chick is grateful Morgan believes in compassion.
Garumph. They were praying! PRAYING!
I mean, isn’t the ZA proof that god’s taken a powder?
Well, at least Porchdick got it.
I got the impression with the scene near the end that Gabriel has been acting like a douche because of the guilt he felt about what happened at his church. With the three of them praying, it seems as if Gabriel is coming around and will be forgiven…
We don’t know yet, we do know everyone is infected and rises at death. We don’t know if there was an initial wave of deaths, maybe they will cover that in the prequel series coming this summer.
It appears it is a virus, according to Jenner and now the promo for the prequel. We can assume the infection spread first and then as infected people died or natural causes or accidents they started killing others.
Nitpick: Why was Red Poncho guy using wild leeks to protect himself from mosquitoes when you can see everyone’s breath? Of it’s cold enough to see someone’s breath, it’s too damn cold for mosquitoes.
Would you trust him if you were in charge of the compound?
I still say Carol did not need to kill that little girl, she could have just been left in the house to “play” with her sister. People thought that was justified, but Gabriel has proven to be far more of a threat than the girl ever was.
EDIT:What bugged me was if Gabriel feels so guilty he can’t live with himself, he could go out and let some walkers take him alone. Trying to get all of Alexandria killed because he is guilty he got a bunch of people killed…yea…
I don’t think he let them in on purpose.
Oh, hell no, I wouldn’t trust him. I’m not sure he left the gate open on purpose. He seemed to be lost in thought and forgot to latch it. He did slide it closed, but then wandered off.
I’m not sure Gabriel intentionally left the gate open, I think he was in Gabriel-dumbass-zone and did not realize the gate had bounced back open.
Gad, I hate him.
Gabriel tried to go out and get himself killed but then was too much of a coward to let it happen so he tried to taunt Sasha into doing it for him. He had no intention of killing anyone else, he was just completely out of it after his failed suicide attempt.
I was wondering the same thing
I certainly hope the Wolves are more than just those two losers that don’t even have ammo.
I’m pretty sure Gabriel did leave the gate open on purpose, when he confronts Sasha he said something about how none of them deserved to live.
Maybe I need to rewatch, also hard to believe they don’t have a full time guard or gate watcher.
None of Rick’s crew, not the Alexandrians.
I liked it, way too many last minute “saves” (i.e. the factory with Darryl and Aaron).
I thought for sure the ending was going to be some sort of zombie invasion while the Group and Arlington got into a confrontation, with the Wolves releasing their army of zombies into Arlington. But maybe next season.
Have to admit I didn’t see the husband getting made into a Pez dispenser by the drunken wifebeater at the end.
