So excited. I’m hosting an all-day Season One marathon at my house Sunday, with food and zombie-themed games and general craziness.
I’m pumped up. Apparently the zombie attack on a bunch of Pan Am stewardesses early in the first ep is flat-out awesome.
Since the first one aired I’ve read the graphic novels. I really hope they deviate from them even more than they already have as even by the standards of zombie-lit they’re some of the most violent and goriest books I’ve ever read. I particularly hope they minimize Michonne’s ordeal at the hands of the Governor and the battle for the prison
But I’m still looking forward to the premiere.
I was at a Halloween store tonight and they’re selling an officially licensed Deputy Rick Grimes costume.
Was that in the ruins of the Playboy Club?
I, too, have read all the comics since after the first season aired. And, yeah, I can’t imagine the show going to some of the really dark places that the books do.

I received the first compilation of the graphic novels as a gift, but haven’t read them all because I am really struggling with it. I don’t read graphic novels, and I’m having a hard time, and I don’t know why. So I am going to keep myself from clicking on that spoiler, Sampiro.
I would til you read them. It’s kind of a big one.
