New season starts October 16th!
Holy shit, that looks awesome! I’m watching the Walking Dead panel from Comic Con on youtube right now. October 16 is a long way away…
Wow - looks great! I’m glad it’s starting a little earlier this year (watched last years premiere at our NanoWriMo kick-off party, so I think that’s about two weeks early!).
well, now I know when I’ll be having my season 1 marathon… can’t wait.
I thought season 1 was terrific, and I’m eagerly waiting season 2, but that trailer didn’t do anything for me. Nice music, but I don’t get any sense of what’s going to happen in season 2.
I didn’t watch season one and could swear it got canceled early. Was it ever?
Guess I might have to scrounge up season 1 now.
The short season was planned from the beginning. Season 2 will be longer I believe.
No, it actually did quite good in the ratings.
I’m surprised. I was under the impression that it got a bunch of viewers for its first episode or two and then everyone stopped watching.
Here’s the ratings for the first season, in millions:
5.35
4.71
5.07
4.75
5.56
5.97
Stayed pretty consistent and went up at the end.
Huh. I guess I heard people saying they liked it and being bummed at how briefly it lasted and figured that meant it got canceled, which many non-mainstream type shows do.
My understanding is that it was originally planned to be only one season, and only 6 episodes (a mini-series), and that it pulled in so many viewers that they had agreed to a second season very soon.
Can’t wait, OH YEAH BABY!
My tasty, tasty brain is now brimming with eager anticipation.
I missed the final episode of the first season, darn it! Can someone doe a very short summary of what went on?
Did they get inside that lab? Were there answers as to how the plague started? Does the one guy still have the hots for his partner’s wife? Did you see the black father and son again, or the guy who cut off his hand?
Short answer:
Yes, sort of, yes, no.
