Good seeing Opie from SOA, back in action.
Oh yeah, Beta is pretty scary, for sure!

I’ve been watching out of habit mostly the last couple years. And last night I was really annoyed at the teen drama and was thinking I just can’t watch if this is the direction they are going. Then they got to the pikes. I think that’s the first time I’ve said “holy shit!” when watching in years.
I knew the couple in the opening were going to die - they may have well been wearing red shirts. I guess after that, all the happiness at the fair didn’t seem as foreboding. Poor Carol. She can’t get a break with kids. Who is going to be in charge at Hilltop now with Maggie, Jesus and Tara gone?
Wow! That was quite the scene. I knew that it was coming (I’m familiar with the comics), but it still had a “punch to the gut” impact. Alpha needs to pay for this!
I don’t know why I watch this show. I don’t enjoy watching characters I’ve invested in dying in horrible ways. After Glenn’s death I don’t think I watched the show for a year.
I know Game of Thrones is famous for this, but for some reason it doesn’t hit me and depress me the same way.
Which time? The fake out or the real death via lucille?
Of all the episodes to cut off early on the DVR… only saw up to the scene in the theater with “Debbie” sitting down next to Lydia. Had to wait a day for it to show up on OnDemand to get the rest.
I didn’t catch all of the fallen there at the end Henry seems almost a given for Alpha to target, kinda surprised at Tara(who I didn’t even notice in the scene), Enid, and those teens
See the spoiler in post 268.
Yes that post’s the only reason I knew the full list.
Yep, I still haven’t seen the last 30 minutes.
I’m getting kind of tired of the plot stupidity so I’m actually glad that I can peruse the spoilers her.
It’s bad. Good characters are dropping like flies. This show is doomed. The way they showed it was impressive though. I’m.glad Henry bit the dust.
Who are you implying is good?
Henry? Grace Under Fire? or are you a big Tara or Enid fan?
So…regarding the season finale. It’s been a long time since I learned survival shit in the Boy Scouts, but could someone explain to me why marching around in a blizzard was preferable to waiting it out in whatever building they happened to be in?
They only had enough food for one more day.
In Alexandria, it sure seemed a long way to Aaron’s house.
I’m glad to see there were zombies that were frozen solid. I think the zombies under the snow should have been frozen solid too. I know that snow is an insulator, but I don’t think the dead have any heat to retain. Also, Mrs. L.A., who lived in the South, says it doesn’t get that cold there, and that the river wouldn’t have been frozen like that. But… suspension of disbelief.
Aren’t they in Virginia? The series is shot in Georgia, but it’s taking place in VA.
I thought Daryl was about to get it forsure. Im glad Carol kicked the king to the curb. And this Negan thing might just get interesting again.
I’m not clear about how that happened. Ezekiel see’s Daryl as a rival, and suggests Daryl leave. Carol finds out. Carol and Daryl are close, and Daryl wishes he’d ended up with her (I think); but does Carol feel the same about Daryl? If not, shouldn’t she have gone to Ezekiel and explained that Daryl is a dear friend, but Ezekiel has nothing to worry about? I must have missed something, as the breakup seemed to happen suddenly.
I think Carol and Ezekiel broke up because they lost a child. It’s fairly common that kind of grief will put up walls in a marriage.
