The weather forecast MMP

A city where you may do both.

Hey purp, why don’t you buy some beads with your extra $$$$$??? Don’t hit me…

Other than that, I got nuffin’

All righty! Cabbage is stuffed, loaded in the pot, and sitting in the fridge till I cook it up on Sunday. I need to empty, then refill the dishwasher and make up the chicken salad for supper. But for now, I need a break.

I don’t know if I mentioned already, but when she was 17, my youngest sister gave up a son for adoption. A few months back, she began to search for him in earnest. Today she was informed that a letter and some photos from him are on the way to her. She’d already sent him a letter and some pics via the adoption agency. Needless to say, she’s way more than excited. And I’m guessing a meeting will happen soon.

Her son will be 32 in April. My sister could well be a grandmother!! THAT is a bizarro thought!

Howdy from da cave! Yes, da cave. Get over it. :stuck_out_tongue: Irk is over for the week. YAY!!!

{{{Apes, Grump, and Red’sMom}}} Hope everybody is better soonest.

Ima bake up some poke chops for dindin, along with some cheesey rice, green beans, and rolls for dindin. Won’t take a long time and will be a nice dindin.

Now I shall go surf teh intartoobz for a bit.

Happy FIRDAY all!

Papa John’s has brought back their cheeseburger pizza! YAY!! We ordered it, too, it is sooo good. I think it’s the pickles that makes it so good. LOL Anyway, very glad it’s back on their menu.

I’m still around mostly lurking, even on Facebook. I’ve got several different channels that I follow on u-tube, though, most of them related to pet dogs or cats. PM me if you are interested in possibly following them as well. Some of the pets are really cute.

Poke chops are bakin’ away, rice, beans, and rolls shall get started when OYKW calls to let me know he’s on the way. I feel so domestic.

Have I mentioned lately that I hate you?

Fresh, frozen or canned?

My sweetie is home. Our packing is partly done. He doesn’t want supper, so we’ll just grab whatever before heading north. my kitchen is tidied, so yay!

It’s about time to go, so I’m signing off. Dunno if I’ll be able to check in from Mom’s tomorrow, but if we don’t get back too late, I’ll catch ya then! MWAH!

Y’all be safe MOOOOOOM! Ok, whose got first watch to make sure flytrapuses a coaster?

Dindin has been ingested. 'Twas good. Plus there’s a Mrs. Edwards Chawklit Pie for later. YUM! flytrap they were fresh frozen green beans. I put 'em up all by my self last Summer.

Went to the bake sale. Quite a few of my doughnuts sold. Yay

Good for you!
My beer can is my coaster.

Is she gone yet?

Midget yay! The rest can be brekkie tomorrow! It’s all win-win!

This should be interesting. A co-worker who has been working with Vogons and puppies thinks I am not making enough to work with Vogons and puppies and will suggest to my management that I’ll need an income adjustment.

Until then… I bought one of those “As seen on TV” giggle balls for the dogs. So far, it seems to be more entertaining to the humans than to the hounds.

gotti appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed re the bump in pay. The idea of a Vogon puppy has kept me somewhat entertained this week.

If you really want stitches ----------

That was me. Consider yourself lucky; some days I claim to be a heart surgeon.

Who double at the lenten dinners as the fish friars. :smack:

Damn – should have read one more post before hitting submit.

And if you have a Concealed Carry Permit, hand him that with your license. It wins friends and prevents many a strip search.

No but it does have a Suess-ish lilt to it.

Laundry is done, and kitchen is cleaned. Making Asian BBQ chicken with stir fried green beans and green tea rice for dinner. I’m about to give Gordie his birthday Frosty Paws.

Happy Birthday Sahmom!

Feel better, Grumpy. At least the “oral surgeon” didn’t keep asking you if it was safe.

GMTA. Us, too.

Safe trip, Moooommmm!

I’m tired and got paid, a combo which has lead to Chinese delivery for dinner. Call it a 50/50 split celebration and consolation. Spicy orange chicken, never had it from the nearby joint that delivers to my new apt yet.

Sigh, I used to work next to a hole in the wall Chinese joint that

  • was willing to make spicy orange fried beef, which done right is a thing of wonder and boy did they do it right
  • made some of the best BBQ ribs I’ve ever had (Asian style, not Tx style, which you could get up the block for I guess DIY fusion ribs, some assembly required)
  • is called Wang’s and come on, how could you not patronize them?

Still rubbing my hands gleefully like a cartoon miser over my Amazon cart, plotting which things I shall move to cart. Have settled for ordering the fun multicolor striped earmuffs, even though finally getting them will probably means they show up a day after the last cold snap and we get no more cold weather this winter. Which I guess could be considered a good thing.
