It’s a chilly 20 degrees outside, but the sun is shining.
Today is bathe the dog day, oh such joy and happiness there. Sah-son wants to keep him on a weekly schedule and so we do. Poor dog. I need to do some laundry although it can be put off one more day.
Well here is a pic of the cat living under my shed
or maybe it doesn’t live there and only comes to visit
I’m afraid if I put food out I’ll get many cats, I used to pet sit for a woman who fed the strays, soon she had dozens of cats living in her yard and complaints from the neighbors.
Have you ever thought about having a second shed? Then you could --------- ahhhh, never mind. I’ve already made two Python references today in other threads.
Just finished doing our taxes, with the help of considerable barking. Wouldn’t you know now that I’m done, so is Higgs?? Idiot dog.
Bottom line, we’re getting refunds. I have not yet managed to figure out how to keep our money in our accounts rather than sitting in the gummint coffers till I ask for it back. We could have had an extra $200/mo on hand and still gotten a wee refund back. But I don’t know how to adjust since **FCD **is back at work and our income will shoot way up again. Maybe next year I can figure it out.
Howdy from the orifice! Today is one of those days I remind myself that I don’t have childrens so I must rely on irk and/or life in general for my recommended daily allowance of aggravation.
The Episcopal clergy would drink 'em under the table. Probably the Lutheran Bishop would do so as well.
Although I had a client who got a female Siamese, bred her and then kept a male kitten. She wasn’t familiar with animals and was quite horrified when her male cat got his own mother pregnant. She truly didn’t know animals would do that.
Anyway, the cat had two kittens, she kept the female who had long hair and was missing a toe on each foot.
And, yes, she got them all spayed and neutered.
No more surprises.
The cat is getting braver, when Sah-son took the dog out the cat laid there and watched
them.
The dog has been bathed. Pizza for early N.O.L.or early dinner, depending on how you look at it.
Burmese are fluffy Siamese. One of my good friends had a lot of Burmese cats growing up. Her family bred them for a while.
I did get to go home early. I celebrated by getting another story started. Well, it’s the same story I was working on earlier this year, just from another perspective. I’m thinking of melding the two together. Eventually.
