You know, when I first saw this I thought it said “The Webleys”, and I was all ready to come in here and share my knowledge of British Service Handguns 1850-1965, when I realised it was actually about Internet Awards. :smack:

We may be fabbo but the chronic “Cap’n she’s gonna blow if we push the server any harder” nature of this site is not, and unlike most sites this size with adequate hosting and hardware, surfing the dope is often subject to fits and starts during periods of high activity. We may be great, but the surfing experience for many casual users cruising the dope is definitely off putting in terms of these users ranking this site.
Besides that, once you get beyond our rugged good looks we’re really not all that lovable. Beyond the nuts and bolts Q&A a main feature of this site is to give other peoples opinions (if we disagree with them) a keelhauling and then a hearty caning. Some people like this, but many don’t. We’re an acquired taste, kind of like message board Vegemite.

who cares? The “webbys” are a dumb joke, a masturbation society of idiots who think they are important. I thought they went out of business years ago?
