I happen to live in DeKalb County, Georgia (the county of the featured D.A.) and I really got tired of them mispronouncing the county name. Here in Georgia, the “L” in DeKalb is silent, so it’s pronounced “de-CAB.”
I know that in DeKalb, Illinois, the “L” is not silent, so I can understand how the mispronounciation occurs. But I still found it annoying!
