The White Gull Inn wins "best breakfast"

The White Gull Inn in Fish Creek, Wisconsin has won “Good Morning America”'s “America’s Best Breakfast” contest.

The reason I am posting this in MPSIMS is I worked 3 summers at the WGI, and even had a (very) minor role in French Toast making (we didn’t have cherry stuffed French Toast when I worked there). I worked with Julie Zak and Steve Glabe (the guy in white over Andy’s left shoulder)

Why can’t we get breakfasts like this in the UK? It really is something that the USA excels in.

I love that, at the bottom, they have a dish for those with ‘hearty appetites’. They mean the rest of the menu isn’t?

The menu looks like standard American breakfast fare. Maybe it’s well made, but I’m more interested in a variety of flavors like what they offer at First Watch. Mmmm…turkey dill crepeggs. I wish we had these in Charlotte.
