The wiggle in her walk ?

I was eating dinner in my favorite restaurant, and I was flirting with the waitress.
I noticed that when she walked away her butt had a really nice wiggle to it.
Perhaps more of a wiggle than is normally there when she walks.
Do some women consciously wiggle their butt more when they know they are being watched, or is it a subconsious thing they might do to appear more attractive ?
Whatever the reason is, I sure was enjoying the show

Thanks !

I find the amount of wiggle increases among most women when they know they are being watched and admired. Particularly by a person they are attracted to or find pleasant.

omg.

My nickname in college was “Wiggles” for that very reason.

I can’t believe I had forgotten that.

ahhhhh, the memories!

So, how you doin’?

A girl I knew (two ex’s ago) used to do that in the presence of guys. She denied it, of course, when I put the question to her, protesting that, “All I do is clench my buttcheeks a bit, so they look firmer”.

Maybe it’s a subconscious measure against the dreaded booty-jiggle?

I hate to see you going, but I love to watch you leave.

Hey, ain’t nothing wrong with a booty-jiggle.

I have been accused of doing it, but I never did it knowingly.

When I was younger and enjoyed wrapping young men around my finger, I certainly swayed my hips more than usual when walking away from a particularly cute guy.

Now I don’t think about it much, and wouldn’t try anything so silly. Probably.

There are some shoes that make you “wiggle” more than usual. I’ve got a pair that I never wear because of that. At 39, it’s no longer a cute wiggle, it’s more like the saggy pendulum of gravity!

must be jelly cuz jam don’t shake like that

Fries come with that shake?

Shake what ya momma gave ya!

It’s funny to watch women do it who are bad at it. (I probably just made half the SDMB self-conscious)

Also, a woman who doesn’t like her butt will run her hand down it, or touch it in some form, as she walks away. I heard Meryl Streep say that once. I think it’s mostly true, even though I’ve never actually polled women who do it to see how they feel.

“The self-conscious touch” also works for faces and boobs.

Shake it! Don’t break it! Took your momma nine months to make it!

You did WHAT with your finger?

Oh.

Never mind.

Please tell me that you had a “giggle in your talk” as well.

Oh, baby!

I bet she made men act real funny, and spend their money.

Oo, baby that’s-a what I like.

My years of study have led me to conclude that there are three fundamental (sorry!) types of wiggle:

Type 1 - The basic parabolic arc with a constant period

Type 2 - The basic parabolic arc, with an interrupted period. The wiggle pauses for a split second at the end of the paralola

Type 3 - The wiggle describes a complex figure, resembling an infinity sign; your basic Figure 8 on its side
