The Wire - All Due Respect - 9/26

Who was it in the sweatshirt that shot the dude on the street? Cheese?
Damn, Lester, Kima & crew thought they had Cheese on the wire tap, but it turned out he was talking about shooting his dog. Blew their cover on the wire tap…

Rhonda takes a little taste of Cedric. She must not have ever heard the old saying “don’t go fishing in the company pond” Wasn’t she banging McNulty in the 1st season?

What the hell is with Herc & Carver and all of the fantasy talk? Just something to pass the time?

Doesn’t look like Kima’s home life is going anywhere. She heads down to pick up a little strange at the bar.

D’Angelo’s widow was looking pretty good when McNulty went to visit.

I’m pretty sure the guy doing all the killing was the parolee guy who was getting his revenge for him getting rip off in the last episode. Then he went to work as a day laborer.

I don’t think it was Cheese…I don’t think the dead guys where the guys with the winning pit bull.

Rhonda & Cedric certainly have been spending a lot of time together…sorta like Herc & Carver, no? I’m pretty that’s pretty typical stuck in the same car on stakeouts for eight hours everyday cop “intimacy”. Good stuff.

Gus Triandos, here’s a few of his cards. Not my first choice.

The HBO.com synposi are required reading. It was “Triage” who killed the first guy in the Tar Heels outfit. Triage was the guy who pointed out to Cheese that he got gamed after the fight. Tar Heels was a soldier to “Dazz”, the winning dog’s owner. The synopsis is silent as to whether the other three killings were related or just a coincidence, but given the fact that they were all in the same area, the other three dead guys were likely linked to Dazz too.

So, Cutty (the parolee) appears to be trying to stay legit, for the time being. I’ve got to think that it won’t last.
