The Witness from Jonathan Blow [OPEN spoilers -Edited title]

On the double door near the end, have you read if very random puzzle is solvable? I went through 10+ on the left door before I solved it. Along the way, I swear some had so many gaps that they were literally impossible. I’d love to see all of them and attempt to solve them.

Sorry I haven’t read one way or another on that, but I’m surprised if there are unsolvable ones! That would make it theoretically possible to never be able to go through the door–and sure it’s just a theoretical possibility but we’re talking game designers and programmers here, they think about theoretical possibilities like they’re real things  .

Never mind. I am now in the tunnels having fun with my wife, solving all the bonus puzzles.

Did you beat the legendary timed challenge? I will not, I am sure, but I will get up to it.

I have not. I’m puttering around outside trying to fill in all the obelisks right now.

I finished everything underground except the Challenge itself. I even looked online to see and it appears I have solved 90% of puzzles. I believe I am at 482 main puzzles, with only about 25 environmental. I think the total amount of puzzles is 523, but some are likely in the Challenge itself. Puts me at 92% done.

I’m also getting this thread marked open spoilers. It’s just you and me and we both appear to be fully spoiled.

I just found a great environmental puzzle back at the beginning of the game, in the opening area. Did you find many there? No, I don’t mean the secret ending one.

I did attempt the Challenge, by the way. Nope, not going to finish it.

Changed the title as you asked.

You da’ man.

A few, the most spectacular one being (open spoilers here): the grey pillar is a puzzle, which unlocks the wooden floor underfoot when you first exit the starting point of the game, which in turn unlocks an environmental puzzle using the flowers hanging on the surrounding wood framework.

I did attempt the Challenge, by the way. Nope, not going to finish it.

Yep, that one with the pillar was a huge joy to discover.

If you go to this link, you can watch Jonathan Blow(the creator of the game) take the challenge. I wont’ spoil if he makes it, but he also talks at the end about its randomness and he answers some questions about the challenge itself.

It’s one hour in if the direct link does not take you there.
