The world was created by a single thought?

The third thing Tak did, he created the world.

That’s what I call mental onanism.

What is mental non-onanism?

The term is useless and therefore unusable.

I use the mental onanism term to refer to a devolution of intellectual thought, into a cesspool of meaningless moronic meanderings with no hope of ever being able to describe reality as we know it.

And then there’s mental onandonandonanism, but if I get started talking about that, I’ll never stop.

What is mental an-onandonandonanism?

When the first time is the last time

It can make you feel so bad

“Creationists make it sound as though a ‘theory’ is something you dreamt up after being drunk all night.”

  • Isaac Asimov

Or a more elaborate, though equally futile, response:

What evidence do you have for this… “theory”? How does it fit the known facts of the universe? How does it account for reality better than its numerous competitors? What observations could one make, in principle, that would falsify it? Does it have any testable consequences? And so on…

Him who mountain crush him no
Him who sun him stop him no
Him who hammer him break him no
Him who fire him fear him no
Him who raise him head above him heart

KOOM VALLEY!!!

Maybe none of you understood it, since you did not read the whole article which I did and it is wise! Anyway, here is the best part from the article:

What do you think of it now? Is it still nonsense or just some superficial babble? It make sense to me how this world can be liken to a script and us being actors in a elaborate and complex play, which our puny mind cannot understand!

Not only did I read the whole article, I also read the article on how great it will be when aliens visit us and can understand god because the name can be represented by a hand. http://www.nurkun.com/aliens-point-of-view-for-allah-symbol/

Um yeah, I still think it’s nonsense.

Yes.

Here’s just one small example from the part you quoted: If are true selves are eternal and unchanging, then how can that eternal self “have an idea” about anything? Having an idea is a change. What’s being described contradicts itself.

It’s a charming fantasy. Perhaps we are all merely pawns in a grand game played by magic unicorns. That’s a charming fantasy too.

Merely because we can imagine something pleasant does not make it so. If you want to make a claim about reality being organized in a particular way, you need to provide evidence to support it. And it should not be logically inconsistent.

In what way is this a theory? What evidence support it, and how can it be tested?

Christ, that’s worse than the Bible.

Though maybe it would seem to be more sensible if I were stoned.

At least then you would not feel so all alone.

Looks just like dozens of other “new-agey” babblings I’ve seen. Meaningless twaddle designed to get soft-headed fools to say “ohhh. so profound”, without actually saying anything coherent. Maybe also to get them to part with some money.

And I might even believe my thoughts could create a universe.

It doesn’t help.

Profound = Coherent
