Although one sig was only annoying til I figured it out. I’d be reading posts like “It wasn’t a cat, it was a gopher. mmm” and think “Wait… this poster not only eats gophers but thinks they’re delicious?”
Finally I checked who was posting those and noticed those were posts by Mean Mr. Mustard. :smack:

I suspect Bricker some times uses us as practice, both for defending things he doesn’t necessarily believe in and for looking all lawyerly while doing so.
I never thought of that but it actually makes sense. I have sometimes felt almost like I was arguing against someone who was practicing debating techniques (I once accused him of “bullshit sophistry”) but I thought that he was just someone who had strong beliefs and refused to budge on them.
