I don’t count you as a poster I can’t stand. I was just pointing out a little irony in your criticism. By no means should that be construed as a defense of Jesse Leigh’s annoying little greetings at the top of each of her posts, which I find irritating. However, not that you should care what I think, but I people signing their posts (especially in the identical way in ever post) mildly irritating also.

As to the OP: your post and subsequent ones are mostly talking about people who hold unpopular views or their posting style bugs you. But that doesn’t tell you much about the person. And yes, you can tell things about a person from a message board.
Well, I intended the thread to be mainly about posting styles/poster’s positions that bug you. I don’t know what these people are like in real life; maybe they’re great.

ETA: I don’t know why everyone hates Shodan. Granted, I agree with him on more things than most of you here, but he’s usually very civil unless people have been provoking him on purpose to try to get a rise out of him.
