Result: a soggy mess whose only use is to decorate a classroom ceiling.

In times past, there have been countless members who arrived here with a supercilious and arrogant mien, eager to blind us all with their supernoval brilliance. They alluded to circumstances which bestowed upon them superior learning and expertise on various subjects. Sometimes, once in a while, this dismissive attitude was just bearable because they plainly did have much to offer (eg. Coll).

In almost every other case, however, they were merely irritating fleas claiming dominion over the dog. You would fall into this category, but I believe you would be more accurately represented by the Yersinia pestis bacterium infesting the flea, claiming dominion over the dog.

You are, by all accounts, an undergraduate studying political science. Admirable as this is (and I will not stoop to speculating that you weren’t clever enough to do proper science), it hardly qualifies you as an “expert”. Your lecturers may have a valid claim to authority, but you would find that even they would be subject to withering criticism and demands for fact-supporting sources if they posted the ill-conceived, opinionated drivel you do.

Which they wouldn’t.

I believe it is possible that you might, just might, have enough critical thinking faculties and background knowledge to become a valuable member of these boards. But until you demonstrate such, you will be followed around and corrected wherever you spill your ignorant bilgewater until the hull of your credibility, already fatally holed I fear, lies at the bottom of the depths you foolishly ventured into, the mast a broken column, and that weeping virgin drowns in a sea of soggy paper.

Actually, it appears TBC is improving somewhat. While he(?) still bifurcates and posts opinion masquerading as fact, he is undeniably doing better than when he first arrived.

I read the thread that you posted a link to. I’ve also been a member of these boards for a little time, and for the most part people exist and get along fairly well, but there seems to be members such as yourself, who like to refer to others as: Knuckle dragging, slope headed, one long eyebrow neolithic man defective mutant throwbacks that you mentally tower over. Of course it goes without saying (But I’ll say it anyway) that you have to demonstrate how effortlessly you tower over them, by producing such ego centric topics like this one. How adroit of you.

Your point was not even well observed, as pointed out more than once. You are so fixated on appearing witty and urbane that you did not even research your little rant come monologue well enough to be effective or be urbane. You simply come off sounding boorish and full of yourself. Perhaps next time you’d like to rant, you will think twice before your future specious arguments detracts from your staggering intellect.
