This is out of control. Every FRICKIN concept or place or sports team or whatever in America has its own “Monopoly” game now. I’m not sure but I believe this started on college campuses, and was unlicensed by Parker Brothers. Instead of AC streets, you bought local bars or whatever. I guess rather than pursue infringement lawsuits, PB decided to beat them at their own game. I have even seen “Astronomy”, “Harley Davidson” and “Dale Earnhardt” editions. I’m sure there are more ridiculous ones than this. Enough is enough!
My own Monopoly set is “personalized” for the booming metropolis of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Booyah.
Um, I own the Star Wars version and I’ll probably buy the Disney version for my dad for Christmas.

Playing Star Wars Monopoly has become one of the New Year’s Eve traditions amongst myself and my friends. Of course, we are all hopeless geeks for whom a wild evening means ingesting too much sugar and debating all night over the likes of 80’s music, Daniel Pinkwater, and Babylon 5.

I also have the Y2K Monopoply, Harley Davidson, Star Wars, Original, handheld version, PC version (2 different ones) and Playstation.

I have the Harley edition, I like the bikes, its not silly, really its not.
My husband has the Corvette edition, cause thats the closest he’ll ever get besides the gobs of Hot Wheels Corvettes adorning every avaliable space he can find.
I also have the University of Michigan edtion, cause, I’m a Wolverine fan, and it goes well with my other Michigan stuff.
The kid is going to get the Powerpuff Girls edition for Christmas, why?
She likes em, and its never too early to get her started on the game of Monopoly.
I think Park Place would be reserved for Ed, with Cecil at Boardwalk.
I have the special millennium edition of Monopoly and The Simpsons Monopoly set (which was bought without thinking too much; bad because it was quite expensive).
