There Has Been A Change In The Matrix!

A few years back, I labored briefly under the misapprehension that Erik Estrada was a midget.

It turns out, I was mistaken.

This is the best website on the internets, hands down.

I could have sworn when I saw Wayne’s World in the theater years ago, there was a scene right after Bohemian Rhapsody finishes where the guys are crying and saying “That was so beautiful.” I’ve seen the movie at least a dozen times since then on VHS and TV and it’s nowhere to be seen. So was I just imagining it, am I thinking of another movie or was it really in there at one point?

here you go…

I bet you were thinking of filmmaker Billy Wilderwho did die in 2002.

from gonzoron’s link:

This was buried down deep – I wish you’d have quoted it.
It’s a relief to see corroboration, at long last. Why the hell wasn’t this among the deleted scenes on the DVD release?

Despite the fact that he’s on my death pool list, I’m glad Gene is still kicking and I hope he sticks around a long, happy time. One of my very favorite celebrities.

At his age, he really ought to stop playing football: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1Sv_z9jm8A

I had the same experience as the OP a few months ago when I discovered that Gene Wilder was still alive.

The one I always think is dead now is Mickey Rooney.

Sorry 'bout that… was in a hurry at the time.

I don’t think you are crazy. I think that footage was in the video for “Bohemian Rhapsody” that came out the same time as the movie.

Wait…Gene Wilder’s alive? Hallelujah!

No, really, I thought he had died too. Weird!

I knew Wilder, Vigoda, and Rooney were alive.

But just last week I posted a reference to Ben Gazzara and made it in the past tense because I thought he was dead. He’s not and I was able to fix it before the edit window closed.

That was filmed yes, and may be on some DVD versions.
