There is no N in USA?

I saw this on a bumper sticker today:

For the life of me I cannot figure out what the hell it’s supposed to mean…does anyone know?

Get US out of UN.

yadda yadda.

Maybe it’s some kind of protest against the use of “the N word”?

  1. There is no “no” in USA.

  2. It could be a leftover buggy sticker circa 1860 saying that the U.S.A. isn’t just made up of the North.

It obviously isn’t a good piece of propaganda.

Well, they also had a sticker that said “Did you ever stop to think and forget to start again?”

My wife thinks that perhaps they stopped thinking when they made that sticker…

If that’s actually the meaning of the sticker, (and it sounds plausible) then it’s an extraordinarily weak pun. Clearly, people who are against the UN have no sense of humor.

Speaking of political bumper stickers, my favorite was always “Run, Hillary, Run!”, because Democrats could put it on the rear bumper, and Republicans could put it on the front bumper. It was truly a bi-partisan political bumper sticker.

As for the bumper sticker in the OP, no ideas, though maybe it’s just a helpful spelling lesson.

It’s part of a set- “There is no B in USA”, “There is no C in USA”, etc.

You know… I never saw it that way. Awesome, you have opened my mind to new dimensions of irony!

You forgot to start at the beginning. “There is no A in USA”, “There is no . . .”

Damn!

Something to do with Borat? He says “USnA”, doesn’t he?

No problem, my second-favorite political bumper sticker says “I reserve the right to keep and arm bears.”

well… there isn’t an N in USA…

No, he says U.S. and A.

I love it! I’ve got just the spot on my front bumper…

As for the OP, I’m pretty sure it’s an anti-UN message.
