I swallowed a bee once. I was riding a motorcycle, had on an open face helmet, opened my mouth, bee flew in and hit back of my throat. I was going about 40 mph on a busy road and couldn’t stop so I swallowed. It stung the side of my throat a couple inches down. Other than some swelling from the sting, I had no other side effects.
